My own view is that this is someone who is so negative in their own life that they seek to drain every ounce of positive energy from another person. If you are a psychic reader people like this seem to gravitate towards you if you are not feeling strong because you are an easy target.
I do not believe that this is a deliberate act. The psychic vampire needs energy and will suck it up from anywhere. This is why it is essential to protect yourself when doing readings.
